Ever since Absentia was released, we’ve been telling you cats that Mike Flanagan is a director to be watched; and if you need even more proof of that, then you should see Ouija: Origin of Evil (review), a movie so good it actually makes the tepid first film all the better by association.
It turns out Flanagan is apparently building a cinema universe of his own, as he revealed something very interesting via Twitter…
A few people have asked… the answer is yes, that IS the Lasser Glass in the basement in Ouija: Origin of Evil.

Pretty neat, huh? Maybe we’ll see a crossover? Ouija: Oculus of Evil? Stranger shit has happened, and in this business we’ve learned never say never.
That being said… it’s Halloween weekend! You’ve only got one choice horror-wise in theaters (sorry, not counting Boo! A Madea Halloween (review)), but at least it’s a good one!
