Tsunami Victim Haunts Taxi in The Gasp Menagerie

default-featured-image

We’ve previously told you about the rash of ghostly taxi passengers in the area affected by the tsunami in Japan.  With so much death and devastation, it’s not a leap to the imaginative to picture lost souls trying to return home, but reports of taxi drivers refusing passengers in the area because of so many experiences is a shock.  Many drivers, different backgrounds, over a fairly large area, all with similar stories?  That’s either a real phenomenon or a wild case of mass hysteria.

Throw another log onto the “it’s real” pile with this evidence from Japan.  We have a video here  courtesy of The Express in the UK that shows a passenger hailing and entering a taxi, captured on a surveillance camera.  He’s followed closely, though, but a specter of some kind.  The long-haired apparition enters the cab with the other passenger.

This would be a remarkable video without the additional details, but the fact that it is said to have been taken in the exact area where the other reports are happening?  That’s very, very interesting.

What do we have here?  Video evidence of the types of encounters cab drivers have reported?  Some kind of bizarre video artifact that inexplicably looks exactly like a human?  Or is it an elaborate hoax?

Explore The Gasp Menagerie!

Have a weird story? Potential evidence of the supernatural, or at least something hard to explain? Spot any creepy critters out there roaming the wilds? LET ME KNOW! I’d love to talk about it and possibly write it up right here in the Gasp Menagerie. You’ll get appropriate credit, of course, and everyone else will get fresh creepy (as opposed to fresh Creepy, which, trust me… nobody wants that) to enjoy. As always, I can be found at mrdark@dreadcentral.com. Now get out there, find some weird, and let’s get this party started.
