Babak Anvari’s Under the Shadow is up for an English language remake, on which Anvari will serve as executive producer, but right now we have the first clip from the original film for you courtesy of Entertainment Weekly! Dig it!
Under the Shadow stars Narges Rashidi, Avin Manshadi, Bobby Naderi, Ray Haratian, and Arash Marandi.
Look for it to be arriving in theaters on October 7th.
Synopsis:
Tehran, 1988: As the Iran-Iraq War rumbles into its eighth year, a mother and daughter are slowly torn apart by the bombing campaigns on the city coupled with the country’s bloody revolution. As they struggle to stay together amidst these terrors, a mysterious evil stalks through their apartment.
