PG-13 Animated Terminator 3000 Feature … TERMINATED
When the news broke last week that The Terminator saga was continuing as a 3D PG-13 rated animated film, no one was happy. Especially the fans. It’s bad enough that we had to sit through the misery that was Terminator: Salvation in which the Terminators didn’t terminate any one, but this proposed animated feature seemed like the worst movie idea in the history of bad movie ideas. Thankfully the project is NOT happening.
According to Deadline New York Pacificor, the company that owns the rights to the Terminator franchise, has sent a cease and desist letter in response to a press release issued by Hanover House detailing plans to develop Terminator 3000, a $70 million animated film in conjunction with Vancouver-based Red Bear Entertainment.
