Those of you who have been reading Dread Central for a while may recall seeing the byline Ryan “Plagiarize” Acheson, mostly on video game reviews. Well, Ryan left us some time ago to pursue other ventures, including following his dream of writing fiction, and as of today that dream has come to fruition. Prepare to enter the twisted world of Tropes.
Tropes is a collection of thirty-seven short and diverse little tales, each crafted for maximum enjoyment. If you like sweet romance or sickening sexual violence, stark tragedy or dark comedy, the surreal or the plausible, then you’ll probably find something here to enjoy. You might also find that along the way there are events to laugh at, moments to cry over, and things that make you throw up in your mouth a little.
Story titles include “Night Spray”, “Mortality”, “The Mortician’s Assistant”, “Heart of the Beast”, and “Cry from the Black” just to name a few.
