Sadhuram 2 Is an Indian Film Inspired by Saw
The Indian film Sadhuram 2 promises to be the country’s “1st philanthropical thriller”, whatever that means. It was also strongly inspired by the Saw movies, a fact that director Sumanth Radhakrishnan proudly acknowledges (see Times of India for more). However, it won’t be as violent as Saw because of the country’s unfortunate censorship policies, and that’s a damn shame.
Despite its name, it’s not a sequel, and the 2 was thrown on the end to make it seem as though the film has both an ambiguous beginning and ending.
Sadhuram 2 opens in India on September 16.
