The Conjuring 2 – Artist Jared Krichevsky Shows Off Alternate Crooked Man Designs

When I first saw The Conjuring 2, I thought that The Crooked Man sequence had been created completely by CGI. It wasn’t until later that I realized the great Javier Botet was responsible for bringing this creature to life using mostly practical FX work accented by CG. It’s quite effective to say the least.
Recently the artist who worked with James Wan to create The Crooked Man, Jared Krichevsky, took to his blog to share some truly twisted alternate designs. Check them out below.

Resist the temptations of oppressive spirits when The Conjuring 2 arrives on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD. New Line Cinema’s supernatural thriller The Conjuring 2 finds James Wan (Furious 7) once again at the helm following the record-breaking success of The Conjuring and bringing to the screen another real case from the files of renowned demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren.
Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson reprise their roles of Lorraine and Ed Warren from the original film. Rounding out the cast are Frances O’Connor as a single mom with Madison Wolfe and newcomers Lauren Esposito, Patrick McAuley, and Benjamin Haigh as her children.
The Conjuring 2 will be available on Blu-ray for $28.98 beginning September 13th and includes the film in high definition on Blu-ray disc, a DVD, and a digital version of the movie in Digital HD with UltraViolet. Fans can also own The Conjuring 2 via purchase from digital retailers beginning August 30th.
The Blu-ray disc of The Conjuring 2 will feature a Dolby Atmos® soundtrack remixed specifically for the home theater environment to place and move audio anywhere in the room, including overhead. To experience Dolby Atmos at home, a Dolby Atmos enabled AV receiver and additional speakers or a Dolby Atmos enabled sound bar are required. Dolby Atmos soundtracks are fully backward compatible with traditional audio configurations and legacy home entertainment equipment that aren’t Dolby Atmos compatible.
Synopsis:
Lorraine and Ed Warren, in one of their most terrifying paranormal investigations, travel to north London to help a single mother raising four children alone in a house plagued by malicious spirits.
