Some really sad news has come our way as The New York Times is reporting that legendary comic book artist Jack Davis has passed away at age 91.
Davis’ signature style work has appeared in and on numerous publications over the years including Mad Magazine and Time. For horror fans though… we’ll always remember the glorious work he did under the EC Comics label with titles like Tales from the Crypt, Terror Illustrated, and The Vault of Horror all under his belt.
Another part of our childhood has moved on as we all venture into adulthood kicking and screaming. We here at Dread Central would like to thank Jack for everything… all the memories, chills, laughs, and contributions he’s given us over the years. Rest easy, sir. Your legacy lives on!
