The British Are Coming! Being Human to Invade Comic-Con!
We’re exactly a month away from the madness known as the San Diego Comic-Con so expect a flurry of guest and panel announcements over the next couple of weeks. On today’s list is “Being Human” creator/writer Toby Whithouse joining cast members Russell Tovey, Lenora Crichlow, Aidan Turner, and Sinead Keenan at the big show.
Season Two of “Being Human”, which follows three twenty-somethings living double lives as a werewolf, a vampire, and a ghost, returns to BBC America the same weekend as Comic-Con. It premieres on Saturday, July 24th, directly following the “Doctor Who” season finale. Just in advance of that, the “Being Human” Season One DVD and Blu-ray sets hit stores on July 20th (pre-order your copy below).
As far as “Being Human” events at SDCC 2010, Whithouse, Tovey, Crichlow, Turner, and Keenan will appear on stage for a fan Q&A and will also be signing at the BBC America booth. In addition, BBC America will be screening the Season Two opening episode during the con. The exact schedule follows:
8:00 pm – BBC America U.S. Premiere Screening of “Being Human” Season Two Opener. Room 6DE
2:00–3:00 pm – “Being Human” Signing at the BBC America Booth (#3629)
6:00–7:00 pm – “Being Human” Panel: Creator/writer Toby Whithouse and cast members Russell Tovey, Lenora Crichlow, Aidan Turner, and Sinead Keenan will be on stage for a fan Q&A and exclusive sneak peek into the new U.S. premiere season. Don’t miss the chance to get the inside secrets on the double-lives of a werewolf, a vampire, and a ghost, joined this season by George’s friend Nina, who has a mysterious secret of her own. Room 6A
