Ahead of its fall 2016 Blu-ray release, Grindhouse Releasing is bringing the first movie to be rated X by the MPAA for violence alone, I Drink Your Blood, back to theaters!

This deluxe, uncensored director’s cut deemed too disturbing for ’70s audiences will be showing in all its gory glory up on the big screen thanks to a new film restoration supervised by Bob Murawski! Even cooler? Participating theaters also have the option to screen the original co-feature I Eat Your Skin! We’ll keep you in the loop of which theaters will be participating, but believe us when we tell you this will be an event you do not want to miss!

Bhaskar Roy Chowdhury, Jadin Wong, Rhonda Fultz, and Lynn Lowry star in this 1970 hippie horror classic directed by David E. Durston.

Synopsis:
A band of Satanist hippies lead by Horace Bones (Bhaskar) roll into a town and begin terrorizing the local folk, raping a local girl whose grandpa goes after them. He fails and is given LSD. This bothers his grandson, and he gets back at the hippies by feeding them meat pies infected with blood from a rabid dog. They turn into crazed lunatics and begin killing and/or infecting everything in their path.
