When Hellraiser was originally released, Stephen King famously said, “I have seen the future of horror, and his name is Clive Barker.” So yeah, Barker is a pretty big deal in the horror industry.
If you feel like celebrating the work of the Candyman creator, then head over to an exhibition that’s being held at the Copro Gallery in Santa Monica, California, on August 6. It features art by Barker and was curated by composer Cris Velasco.
The combined exhibit will also feature works inspired by HP Lovecraft. Talk about a win-win!

Synopsis:
Best known for his epic musical scores on blockbuster video games such as Bloodborne, Darksiders, H1Z1, Zombi, Mass Effect 3, as well as the Borderlands and God of War series, Cris Velasco also previously scored Clive Barker’s Jericho and Clive Barker’s Books of Blood, for which he was personally selected by the celebrated author, filmmaker, and painter. His latest game scores include Battleborn and Overwatch.
