Writer/director Thomas Churchill describes his indie horror film Emerging Past as being in the tradition of The Exorcist and The Omen, and if you’re planning on attending the Famous Monsters Convention in Indianapolis this July, you’ll be able to see for yourself if it’s an apt description since the flick will be having its world premiere during the event.
Emerging Past stars genre veterans Brooke McCarter (The Lost Boys), Stephen Geoffreys (Fright Night, 976-Evil), Steve Dash (Friday the 13th Part 2), and Tony Moran (Halloween) along with up-and-coming actress Krista Grotte. The film’s original score and songs are by G Tom Mac, and you can check out the first music video for “Soul I Bare” beneath the trailer and poster below.
When you can’t see the future and the present seems to fade, you need to live for the past.
