IFC Midnight has acquired North American and Latin American rights to Billy O’Brien’s I AM NOT A SERIAL KILLER. The film, with a screenplay by O’Brien and Christopher Hyde based on the novel by Dan Wells, stars Max Records, Christopher Lloyd, Laura Fraser, and Karl Geary.
The film was produced by Nick Ryan, James Harris, and Mark Lane and was executive produced by Wayne Marc Godfrey, Robert Jones, James Atherton, Jan Pace, John McDonnell, Rory Gilmartin, Billy O’Brien, Avril Daly, Ruairi Robinson, Robbie Ryan, Bertrand Faivre, Ruth Kenley-Letts, and Afolabi Kuti.
I AM NOT A SERIAL KILLER takes place in a small Midwestern town where a troubled teen with homicidal tendencies must hunt down and destroy a supernatural killer whilst keeping his own inner demons at bay.
I AM NOT A SERIAL KILLER was funded by Bord Scannan na hEireann/The Irish Film Board, Quickfire Films, and The Fyzz Facility and produced by Floodland Pictures and The Tea Shop & Film Company. IFC Midnight is a sister label to IFC Films and Sundance Selects and is owned and operated by AMC Networks Inc.
