Alien: Covenant – Xenomorph Hand Being Sculpted in Behind-the-Scenes Video
Back in 1978, on this very day, Ridley Scott and his team had just begun production on the original Alien, so it seems only fitting that brand new franchise installment/Prometheus sequel Alien: Covenant is currently in the midst of filming. Today, a quick little video takes us into the FX workshop, where a Xenomorph is coming to life.

Alien: Covenant is headed our way on August 4, 2017. Along with the returning Noomi Rapace and Michael Fassbender, the cast also includes Danny McBride, Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Benjamin Rigby, Demian Bichir, Jussie Smollett, Amy Seimetz, Carmen Ejogo, and Callie Hernandez.
Specific plot details for the new film are being closely guarded; but it is believed to follow the crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet, who discover what they believe is an uncharted paradise but is, in fact, a dark, dangerous world, the only inhabitant of which is David (Fassbender), the “synthetic” and survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.
