Late Phases Director Draws a Black Circle

There aren’t too many werewolf movies released in the last ten years that we can recommend, but Adrian Garcia Bogliano’s Late Phases is damn sure one of them. What’s next for the Spanish filmmaker? We’ve just learned that he’s wrapped principal photography on Black Circle, so read on for all the details!
Per Entertainment Weekly, the Swedish-language supernatural horror movie follows the story of two sisters whose lives change dramatically after going through hypnosis using a mysterious vinyl album recorded in the 1970s.
Felice Jankell and Christina Lindberg star, and the cast also includes Hanna Asp, Hanna and Erica Midfjäll, Madeleine Trollvik, Hans Sandquist, Inger Nilsson, Iwa Boman, and Johan Palm.
“It was a blast to shoot this film with an amazing cast of performers from the most different backgrounds and coming with exciting approaches to the material,” Bogliano told EW. “It was exciting to have the chance to do something that takes place in a country with such a unique culture and an overwhelming film history.”
