DVD and Blu-ray Releases: July 5, 2016

Happy belated Independence Day! Some of you made it in to work today; some of you didn’t – and that’s okay! You still came here to read my article regardless, and good for you for doing so.

We’ve got 15 releases for you this week. Anyone looking for either of the William Castle double feature Blu’s will have to wait two weeks until the 19th.

Our other discrepancy this week is Brutal Colors. This movie may have already seen a release on June 23rd of 2015 or maybe not. It may also have a release this week… or maybe not. Basically, if you haven’t already seen Brutal Colors, you may soon or you might never.

I feel like there have been a couple of Blood and Black Lace releases over the past year or two, so whether you pick up one or both of the Steelbooks or the 2-Disc Special Edition dropping this week, it isn’t really out of the question that a “Double Secret Probation” edition may pop up some time in the somewhat distant future.

This year’s reboot of Cabin Fever is also getting both the DVD and the Blu-ray treatment this week. I liked the original a lot but have yet to check this one out. I have high hopes though.

In addition to all of this, there’s a good handful of collections to be on the look-out for this week. They all offer a pretty wide variety for you to choose from so be sure to check them out below.

As always, pleasant viewing, friends.
