Horror Short Do Not Disturb Launches Feature Length Indiegogo Campaign
With the James Wan-produced feature length Lights Out coming out soon, other horror short films are seeking similar routes. One such short film is the award-winning Do Not Disturb.
Back in 2014, Do Not Disturb came in second place at the “Jury of the 3rd Viewster Online Film Festival,” and it most recently won Best Screenplay in the Toronto Spring of Horror and Fantasy Film Festival. Armed with these successes, director/writer Pedro Tavares and executive producer Daniel Berilla are launching an Indiegogo campaign to make a feature from the short, and they need a little help from horror fans.
Do Not Disturb tells the story of what happens when ordinary strangers awaken in an ominous place, all bound by ropes. Each rope is attached to a bell, and if the bell rings… they die. Without any recollection of where they are or who has imprisoned them, they will somehow need to set themselves free and search for an exit. However, they will soon discover that in order to survive this horror, they will have to work together and avoid, by any means necessary, the bells hidden in the dark. Where are they? Who would do this to them?
But the most important question is: What is that creature lurking around in the shadows?
