King Kong Will Be Bigger Than Ever in Kong: Skull Island

Legendary monster King Kong returns to the big screen next year in the form of reboot Kong: Skull Island, and if you’re wondering how big Kong will be this time around, we’ve got that information for you today. As the headline up above suggests, he’ll be more monstrous than ever before, so read on for the official stat.

Per THR, director Jordan Vogt-Roberts just noted that his Kong will measure a staggering 100-feet tall!

This is going to be the biggest Kong there’s ever been,” he boasted. “Not 10 foot or 30 foot, but a 100-foot ape.”

Kong will definitely need that size when he battles Godzilla come 2020!

Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, John Goodman, Samuel L. Jackson, Tom Wilkinson, John C. Reilly, Toby Kebbell, Will Brittain, Thomas Mann, Jason Mitchell, Corey Hawkins, John Ortiz, Eugene Cordero, and Shea Whigham star.

Jordan Vogt-Roberts directed from a script by John Gatins and Max Borenstein. Producing are Legendary’s John Jashni and Thomas Tull as well as Mary Parent.

The film is about a man (Hiddleston) who travels to the mythical island and home of the king of the apes. A team of explorers venture inside what they find to be a treacherous island. The story will honor the King Kong lore but in a different time period.

Kong: Skull Island will hit theaters on March 10, 2017.
