The Neon Demon Gets the Mondo Treatment

We’ve lost track of how many different bits of artwork we’ve seen for Nicolas Winding Refn’s The Neon Demon (review), but no poster collection would be complete without at least one from Mondo.
Mondo is excited to unveil a dynamic poster by artist Jay Shaw for The Neon Demon, the latest film from celebrated auteur Nicolas Winding Refn. The poster will be available for purchase at a special screening of The Neon Demon with Refn and composer Cliff Martinez in attendance at Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar in Austin, TX, on Saturday, June 18. Any remaining copies of the poster will go on sale at MondoTees.com at a later date.
The film arrives in the US on June 24th. If you’re across the pond in the UK, you can see it beginning July 8th.
The Neon Demon stars Elle Fanning, Keanu Reeves, Christina Hendricks, Alessandro Nivola, Abbey Lee (Drive), Jena Malone (The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1), Bella Heathcote (Beneath Hill 60), and Karl Glusman (Stonewall).
Refn’s regular collaborators, editor Matthew Newman and composer Cliff Martinez, were joined by The Grandmaster director of photography Philippe Le Sourd on the film. Refn’s partner, Lene Borglum, produced under their Space Rocket banner.
Synopsis:
When aspiring model Jesse moves to Los Angeles, her youth and vitality are devoured by a group of beauty-obsessed women who will take any means necessary to get what she has.
