Sadako and Kayako Team Up to Fight Drugs

What could possibly be worse than being hooked on drugs? Quite a few things actually, including being menaced by Sadako and Kayako.
Yep, the Tokyo Metropolitan Police have teamed up with Kadokawa Pictures to create a PSA poster featuring the ghosts from the upcoming crossover film Sadako vs. Kayako that highlights the dangers of drug abuse. Japan Today was kind enough to provide the following translation of the text in the poster: “The shadow of quasi-legal drugs creeps towards you… once you fall, you can’t get up.”
I swear that the marketing campaign for this film just gets crazier and crazier. I guess we’ll learn if it all pays off when the film hits Japan on June 18.
