It’s a Wrap for James Franco’s Future World
In mid-May we got the first word on Future World, a post-apocalyptic thriller co-directed by James Franco and Bruce Cheung, and already production has wrapped! Read on for the latest details about the film.
From the Press Release:
Principal photography wrapped today in California on AMBI’s post-apocalyptic thriller Future World, directed by James Franco (pictured below) and Bruce Cheung and starring Milla Jovovich, Lucy Liu, Method Man, Suki Waterhouse, Snoop Dogg, Margarita Levieva, Jeffrey Wahlberg, and Franco.
The movie is set in the barren landscape of a post-apocalyptic world, where a young Prince from the Oasis (one of the last known safe havens) and a robot named Ash go on a daring journey of self-discovery — one that winds through the violent and desolate world of the Wastelands.
Cheung and Jay Davis wrote the screenplay from an original story by Franco. Producers are Andrea Iervolino, Monika Bacardi, Vince Jolivette, and Davis.
AMBI Group, the movie development, finance, production, and distribution group owned and run by Andrea Iervolino and Monika Bacardi, financed the film in association with the Fyzz Facility and Black Sparrow. AMBI Distribution, the worldwide sales arm of the AMBI Group, is handling global sales.
