Ready to see a bit more from this coming Sunday night’s “Preacher” debut? We have a new sneak peek – this one features Tulip (Ruth Negga) in a cornfield – along with footage from the show’s recent red carpet premiere, in which director/exec producer Seth Rogen pours praise on what he feels is some of the best work he has ever done, while the cast and crew express how they can’t wait to bring this cult phenomenon to the world.
“Preacher” arrives Sunday, May 22nd, at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT with a 90-minute premiere episode, and AMC will re-air the pilot on Sunday, May 29th, at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT, followed by “Talking Preacher” with Chris Hardwick. New episodes resume Sunday, June 5th, at its regular time of 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Based on Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon’s popular ‘90’s comic book franchise of the same name, “Preacher” is a supernatural, twisted, and darkly comedic drama that follows a West Texas preacher named Jesse Custer, who is inhabited by a mysterious entity that causes him to develop a highly unusual power. Jesse, his badass ex-girlfriend Tulip, and an Irish vagabond named Cassidy come together; and when they do, they are thrust into a crazy world populated by a cast of characters from Heaven, Hell, and everywhere in between. The series was developed for television by executive producers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg and executive producer and showrunner Sam Catlin and is a Sony Pictures Television and AMC Studios co-production.
“Preacher” stars Dominic Cooper as Jesse Custer, Joseph Gilgun as Cassidy, Ruth Negga as Tulip, Lucy Griffiths as Emily, W. Earl Brown as Sherriff Root, Anatol Yusef as DeBlanc, Tom Brooke as Fiore, Derek Wilson as Donnie Schenck, and Ian Colletti as Eugene/Arseface.
