And there it is, kids! My favorite headline of the day. If that doesn’t interest you in the upcoming flick that’s affectionately known as “the farting corpse movie,” we don’t know what will. Swiss Army Man, the debut feature from music video duo Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, was one of the most talked about films at Sundance this year, and this latest red band trailer is bound to have you talking as well!
A24 picked up Swiss Army Man out of Sundance. It farts into New York and Los Angeles theaters on June 24th and will expand nationwide on July 1st, making it currently the only R-rated comedy on July 4th weekend.
The film stars Daniel Radcliffe, Paul Dano, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead.
Synopsis:
Hank (Paul Dano) is stranded on a deserted island, having given up all hope of ever making it home again. But one day everything changes when a corpse named Manny (Daniel Radcliffe) washes up on shore; the two become fast friends and ultimately go on an epic adventure that will bring Hank back to the woman of his dreams.
