The news of any R-rated animated film is enough to get us hyped, but the news of one with such a huge cast of talented and renowned thespians practically has us wetting ourselves.
The Adventures of Drunky is being made by the Brookyln-based Augenblick Studios (it will be the first animated movie to come out of Brooklyn) and centers on a lowlife drunk named Drunky (subtlety, eh?), who is forced to navigate the realms of Heaven and Hell to rescue the love of his life after God and the Devil make a bet to see if they can push him over the edge.
The titular alcoholic will be voiced by Sam Rockwell, with the masters of Heaven and Hell being voiced by Jeffrey Tambor and Steve Coogan, respectively. See the full cast listed in the graphic below:
