The Fortunate Not So Fortunate; Project Dead in the Water
Just a few days ago we brought you word of a new film called The Fortunate, although now it sounds like the project has been anything but.
Writer Shane Wangman wrote in to let us know that the “project is no more,” and aside from the poster and trailer we showed you, The Fortunate is “dead in the water.”
The project, written by Wangman, was to be directed by Glenn Graves. Kate Greer, Kristen Condon, Albert Goikhman, and Richard Anastasios were set to star. If anything changes, we’ll let you know.
Synopsis:
A group of girls traveling on a hens night are kidnapped and held for ransom by a band of violent shotgun-wielding masked thugs. The girls fight for their lives and try to escape from their captors.
