The Undead Finally Join the Party in Latest Total War: Warhammer Cinematic Trailer
Fucking finally! Months and months after the game’s announcement, we’ve finally got a look at the undead hoards that will be featured in Total War: Warhammer. They’ll be lead by Mannfred von Carstein, a hugely popular vampire from the Warhammer novels, so fans will be thrilled to see him getting such a degree of recognition.
And Sega have really gone all out with the marketing for the game, with the cinematic trailer being a work of art in itself. And that zombie skeleton dragon thing at 2:20 may be the coolest thing known to man.
The strategy game will see, in addition to undead, the Empire, orcs, and dwarfs going waging war on the battlefield. The Legions of Chaos will also be available as a separate download. I’m a little bummed that it doesn’t look like the Lizardmen will be appearing, but the game’s the first of a trilogy, so they could be in a future instalment.
The battle begins when Total War: Warhammer hits stores on May 24, 2016.
