Casting Update for The CW’s Untitled Kevin Williamson Pilot; Matt Passmore Now Male Lead

A casting update has arrived for Kevin Williamson’s still untitled pilot for The CW as the previously announced male lead, Bailey Chase, has been replaced by Aussie actor Matt Passmore (“Satisfaction,” “The Glades”).
Per Deadline, the decision was made after the pilot’s table read earlier this week.
The potential series is about a young woman (Megan West) who seeks help from a parapsychologist (Passmore) when she begins to experience paranormal phenomena. Passmore’s Clark Patterson is a once-successful parapsychologist who is now just an attraction at local ghost conventions. But when he meets a mysterious young woman, everything begins to change. Jessica Szohr will co-star.
The pilot is written by Williamson and directed by David Nutter. Lauren Wagner is a producer while Williamson and Nutter executive produce. The project hails from Warner Bros. TV and Williamson’s Outerbanks Entertainment.
