Dee Wallace Joins Supernatural Thriller Ayla

We’re happy to learn that Dee Wallace, one of our all time favourite ladies of horror, has joined the cast of the upcoming film Ayla. Cameras start rolling on the supernatural resurrection flick later this month, as stated in the press release below.

Dee Wallace (“E.T.”, “The Howling”) has joined the cast of “Ayla”. The supernatural thriller begins production in Washington state this month, helmed by Elias (“Gut”) from his original script.
“Ayla” centers on Elton, a man haunted by the mysterious death of his 4-year-old sister, who brings her back to life thirty years later as an adult woman with dire consequences.
Tristan Risk (“American Mary”), Nicholas Wilder (“Gut”), Sarah Schoofs (“Phobia”), D’Angelo Midili (“The Invoking”), Bill Oberst Jr. (“Resolution”) and Andrew Sensenig (“We Are Still Here”) also star.
Matt Medisch, John Portanova & Jeremy Berg (“Valley of the Sasquatch”) and Sean Patrick Burke (“As You Are”) are producing.
