You’re probably well aware that February is Women in Horror Month, and to mark the end of this momentous occasion, we caught up with Mary Madcox, aka Nurse Hatchet, who is quickly becoming a leading figure in the horror industry. She provided us with the following info, which illustrates what it’s like to be a lady of horror.

Hell-O My Mental Patients, All you she devils & demons out there!! It’s time to administer this deviant dose of DemonatriX. As you are cordially invited to indulge in a dementedly Devilicious & depraved visit to the Nurse’s Office with yours truly Naughty Nurse Hatchet!
Let us begin with a proper introduction, my name is Mary Madcox, better known as Mixtress Marilyn DeSade Madcox AKA: Naughty “NURSE HATCHET”! Special Gore FX Artist, Soundtrack score music composer, Music Video & featurette Director, Horror Comicbook writer & creator, Performance Artist, Fetish Model, Band leader of the Mixtress DemonatriX, & the creator of the character Nurse Hatchet & the Comicbook “Origin of Nurse Hatchet”!
I am mostly known for my Special Gore fx props & Soundtrack Score music, Also known for my music collaborations, including with my very good friend & creative collab partner, Horror film Icon Bill (Leatherface2) Johnson aka Leatherface from Tobe Hooper’s Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2. Our music is featured in numerous Horror movies, independent productions, & music videos etc.
You might also know me from numerous special Cameo appearances in Comicbooks, Horror movies & Music videos etc.
I have also become oddly known for my sadistically perverse gore FX props LOL, not just your basic “body part” props… I have created severed nipples, severed breasts, severed penis & testicles, severed vagina skins, & more LOL!
Here’s some tasty trivia for good measure, most people dont know many of my “naughty body part props” were molded from my own body, including nipples, breasts, etc etc etc… LOL… 😉 & I recently wrapped up my parts on the new “House of Whores part 2” where I created a torn off penis prop, along with a bunch of body parts & intestines etc.. haha, the penis prop was not severed but literally torn off blunt force, kinda reminds me of the Cannibal Corpse song blunt force castration lmfao.. in the scene I rip the penis right off but it’s done in a kind of psychOdelic music video style. The scene actually has its own title: “Blood Dance & NecRomance” & yes there is plenty of goregasmic naughtiness, yours truly riding corpses, & corpse face sitting, & much much more muahaha!!
But I wont give any more devilicious details away, you’ll have to go get your House of Whores DVDs & indulge thoroughly.
I am truly inspired & driven by Horror & Erotica, I love creating special gore FX, it is one of my creative passions in life, but the truth is gore FX is not my only love, my first love & passion has always been for creating/composing music!
Speaking of perverse gore FX & music lol, i have become pretty well known for my Horror based music, & for my erotically charged fetish fueled Music. not only with my Band, but in the soundtrack scores I compose as well, including such erotic song & video titles as “I Like It On Top” “Orally Obsessed” “Work that Tongue – Weapon of Mass Seduction” “Electro-Sexicution” & many more!! then some of Our more well known Horror inspired songs / videos include ” She Who Killz & its numerous remixes, “Paved Grave – Concrete Pillar of Society” “Death Disco Demonatrix & the Nurse’s Orders of Death”as well as my killer collaborations with my very good friend Bill Johnson.
Together we created our first Epic collab titled the FAUST HAIKU (song & video trilogy) which has received rave reviews & topped the industrial metal music charts!! Infact our first song installment for Faust Haiku was originally released 3 years ago, on Halloween, literally posted to the public at 6:30 pm, & by midnight that same night less then 6 hours later, our song hit number #1 on the industrial metal music charts, & then it actually stayed at the top of the charts & remained number #1 for over 9 months strait – nonstop at the top number #1 spot!!!
And now, im proud to announce, Bill & I are now currently in production of our brand spankin new killer Epic collab, by the titillatingly tantalizing title:: “BOHICA (Bend Over, Here it Comes Again)! We have just unleashed BOHICA Part 1 (song) & we are gearing up to release the official full length part #1 & 2 music video featurette, on March 17th, St. Patty’s Day.

My love of Horror & Erotica are with out a doubt personal fetishes that I do love to explore & indulge so as much as I love creating special gore fx props, & creating music based on very dark bloody horror concepts, on the opposite side of the coin, I love to make music based on creatively inspirational sexual exploration concepts. Horror & Erotica, some folks say these two venues dont always fit well together, but in my music, artwork & videos, I bring it all together in a deviliciously tasty mixxx!
Whether it is horror or erotica, everything I create is definitely & deliberately fetish fueled erotic kinky, with predominant Horror elements. Sometimes just like in my comicbook, the sexuality featured in the music, videos & even cameos, is actually intended as a lure to the kill. There you have the Sex & Death aspects. Much like the old sailor stories of the Sirens of the Sea, my character Nurse Hatchet uses sexuality as a means of capturing & exacting depraved ravenous revenge on her violators.
That is expressed through the lyrics of the music as well as in the visuals of the music videos & all roots directly from my original story “The Origin of Nurse Hatchet” as featured in the Comicbook, & in the upcoming novel, as well as the upcoming “Origin of Nurse Hatchet” Movie in the early stages of pre-production right now.
