Gremlins 3 Popping at You in 3D?

We’ve all been patiently waiting. We have hoped, we have prayed, and we have dreamed about a third Gremlins film. Now, there seems to be a bit of possible movement on the sequel front that will find these devilishly lovable creatures popping off the screen and into our laps.
According to 3D blog Market Saw, “Another Gremlins movie is coming to the silver screens, and it will be in stereoscopic 3D! It is in the early stages with still lots of hurdles to pass, but it is being developed. This is not a 3D conversion of the original to be clear.”
We’ll file this one under rumor for now, but man, the prospects are indeed golden, and the time is right for a movie about little critters causing massive mayhem. It’s been too long, we tell ya! Check out the trailer for the original to whet the proverbial whistle!
