Jessica Szohr Joins Bailey Chase for Kevin Williamson Pilot; Twin Peaks Too?
A new project from Kevin Williamson always catches our attention, and his “supernatural drama” for The CW has just gotten two of its leads, who may also be working together on the “Twin Peaks” revival if Deadline is correct.
Both actors have visited the horror genre a few times… first is Bailey Chase (pictured below; Rats, “Twin Peaks,” “Grimm”), who will portray Clark Patterson, “a once-successful parapsychologist who is now just an attraction at local ghost conventions. But when he meets a mysterious young woman, everything begins to change.”
Szohr (a former “Gossip Girl” who is rumored to be joining Chase on Showtime’s upcoming “Twin Peaks” continuation and also appeared in Piranha 3D and Love Bite) will play Jasmine Lacroix, “the granddaughter of a voodoo priestess, who has turned her heritage into a successful tourist shop in Baton Rouge.”
Written by Williamson and directed by David Nutter, the pilot is about a young woman who seeks help from a parapsychologist (Chase) when she begins to experience paranormal phenomena. Lauren Wagner is a producer while Williamson and Nutter executive produce. The still-untitled project hails from Warner Bros. TV and Williamson’s Outerbanks Entertainment.
