Capcom Working on New Attack on Titan Game
With Koei Tecmo’s Attack on Titan having just been released in Japan, with an international release soon to follow, the franchise is wasting no time getting its next video game installment off the ground, with Capcom working on an arcade game in the series.
Showcased at the Japan Amusement Expo, it’s called Attack on Titan: Team Battle, and it supports single-player and has a multi-player mode allowing for up to eight people. It will also feature two controllers in an effort to invoke the omni-directional maneuver from the manga.
There doesn’t seem to be any footage of the game available yet, but the screenshots below look pretty cool. We also don’t know if it will be released outside of Japan or ported to consoles, but this is Capcom we’re talking about. The company with a reputation for releasing about a million different versions of the same game. Right now, I just hope they focus on fixing those damn Street Fighter V technical issues.
