What’s more American than an Internet legend brought to life? That’s exactly what we may be getting in the next season of “American Horror Story.” Us Weekly is reporting that the FX drama’s sixth season will likely focus on Slender Man, a black-suited character (created as an internet meme in 2009) who stalks children, a source reveals.

Someone else wrote the script, and ‘AHS’ wants to adapt it to fit the show,” says the insider. “They have to buy the rights. Then they’re going to figure out the cast from there.

FX head John Landgraf previously said S6 will be “set in the present” with “echoes of the past” mixed in. “It’s set in two time periods,” he added, “but principally in the present.

We’ll keep you posted as more “AHS” details hits the Internet and our inboxes.
