Juan Antonio Bayona to Direct Jurassic World 2?

Last week director Juan Antonio Bayona split from the World War Z sequel, and now Deadline is reporting that he may be Universal’s choice to bring us the sequel to Jurassic World.
Hoping for one of their “Toldja” moments, the site reports that “Bayona has a close relationship with producer Frank Marshall and everybody else there. There are no talks yet, or offer for that matter. So all [we] can say at this point is, keep an eye on Bayona.”

Stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will be returning as their Jurassic World characters, Owen and Claire. Look for the sequel in theaters on June 22, 2018.
