Answer The Telephone in L.A.
There’s no denying it. Working for a website can be a pretty cool gig. Especially when it’s a horror website. Sometimes we get to preview a lot of cool movies that unfortunately don’t see the light of day in the mainstream. Thankfully, a lot of film festivals pick up on the goodies and offer you what could be your only opportunity to check these nasty bits out.
Case in point — The New York International Independent Film and Video Festival (being held in LA). Tonight (March 2nd) they’ll be showing a little movie that we’ve spoken quite a bit about, Jon Lewis’ homage to the great Mario Bava, The Telephone (review).
The fest kicked off yesterday and will be running at the Laemmle Sunset 5 in West Hollywood until March 8th. Hit up the above link for more info, and get ready to treat yourself to a week of indie goodness! Once again, The Telephone will be playing tonight around 10:00 pm Pacific. Catch it if you can!
