The Butcher Brothers have a bit of a spotty track record with genre fans. From pleasing the majority of us with The Hamiltons to savaging some good memories of ours with their insipid April Fool’s Day remake, you just have to take their films with a grain of salt.
Now that their latest film The Violent Kind starring Cory Knauf, Christina Prousalis, Taylor Cole, Tiffany Shepis, Bret Roberts, Nick Tagas, Joe Egender, Joseph McKelheer, and Samuel Child has made it to Sundance, some buzz is being drummed up around the Web.
Over at the official The Violent Kind Facebook page some artwork has popped up for the film, which you can dig on below.
Synopsis
One night at a secluded farmhouse deep in the Northern California woods, a small group of hardened young bikers and their girlfriends are tormented when one of the girls becomes savagely possessed and a gang of “Rockabillies” seemingly from the 1950’s descend upon them to collect what is growing inside her.
