Summit Entertainment Planning an Invasion
Rest easy, dearest reader. We’re not talking about a bunch of shrill Twilight fans who are determined to prove that vampires do indeed sparkle. Instead we’re looking at a bona fide alien invasion of the worst kind!
Variety reports that Summit Entertainment and Participant Media are teaming on Invasion, snapping up Ben Magid’s sci-fi spec script. Invasion is described as a sci-fi action movie with an environmental theme, and according to Yahoo! it follows the survivors of a subway accident in Los Angeles who emerge to find a city in ruins and are forced to deal with mobs and a dangerous slime.
