Foul-Mouthed The Wizards of Aus Trailer Has Violence, Monsters, and More!

What happens when magical beings decide to immigrate to a non-magical society? Are they accepted or discriminated against because of their unnatural abilities?
That’s exactly the premise of the bizarre new Australian web series “The Wizards of Aus,” in which a bunch of wizards decide that their magic land home is no longer safe and relocate to the real world, only for both politicians and normal citizens to demand that they leave. So it’s not too different from how people react to immigrants or people whom they perceive to be different in real life.
By the looks of it, the series will have high Hollywood-level production values, and it’s also basically a red-band trailer, so it’s definitely not safe for work. And those dragons look cool, but I’m pretty sure that they didn’t get permission from Marvel for Ghost Rider to appear.
“The Wizards of Aus” features Michael Shanks (who directed and c0-created/wrote the 6-part series with Nicholas Issell), Menik Gooneratne, and Mark Bonanno with special guests such as Guy Pearce, Bruce Spence, Mark Mitchell, and Samuel Johnson as the voice of Terry the Shark.
It will be premiering on SBS 2 in Australia over three nights from Tuesday 19th of January 2016 at 8:30 pm AEDT. The entire series will be available worldwide for free on SBS On Demand immediately following the broadcast and later released on Shanks’ YouTube channel (timtimfed) in UltraHD.
