Jason Kupfer’s Invaders Puts a Comedic Spin on Home Invasion

Home invasion and comedy — these two things probably sound genuinely horrible together. After all, there’s nothing remotely funny about psychopaths breaking into someone’s house and doing horrible things to them. However, writer/director Jason Kupfer’s short film Invaders manages to take the “home invasion” scenario and put a darkly comedic spin on it. And it works.
Don’t believe me? Check out Invaders below and see for yourself. It’s roughly six minutes long, so it’s not asking for a lot of your precious time. However, if Kupfer and company were to stretch this thing to a feature, I don’t think anyone would complain. I wouldn’t, anyway.
