We’re now three episodes into the Starz series “Ash vs. Evil Dead” (review), and to call it a treat for hardcore fans would frankly be a huge understatement. Short, sweet, and to the point, the show is loaded with classic Ash one-liners and buckets of gore, and holy hell is it awesome.
Some fans have picked up on the fact that there’s a bit of CGI here and there, something the franchise was previously known for being adamantly against, and though that is kind of a bummer, the good news is that there are plenty of practical effects to go around. Like, a LOT of them.
