This Homemade Jason Voorhees Costume Is a Halloween Winner
We’re just two days away from the last Friday the 13th of 2015, and with Friday the 13th: The Game being successfully funded on Kickstarter this week, it’s guaranteed to be a very happy one for all fans of the franchise. So let’s start the celebration a little bit early, shall we?!
Over on Tumblr blog Some Assembly Required, one fan just showed off the Halloween costume he put together this year, and the DIY affair is one of the most impressive we’ve seen. Drawing inspiration from The New Blood, this cosplaying hero literally transformed himself into Jason.
The movie-quality costume is professional cosplaying at its finest, and every part of it is an exact replica of the costume Kane Hodder wore back in the late ’80s. Complete with a chain, an axe, and even an “unmasked” mask under the hockey mask, this Voorhees mega fan totally won Halloween.
