Rise of the Tomb Raider Launch Trailer Features an Original Song by Karen O

With the game being released for Xbox consoles on November 10 (and on other systems next year), the launch trailer for Rise of the Tomb Raider has found its way online. There’s all the usual action and adventure that you would expect and, intriguingly, a new song by Oscar-nominated singer Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs called “I Shall Rise.”
This trailer also offers the deepest look at the plot that we’ve had so far, with Lara searching for the mythical city of Kitezh whilst evading the sinister organization Trinity. The series has always been praised for its cinematic quality, and that is clearly on display here.
Guess we’ll have to wait until November 10 to see if the game really does rise (sorry) above its predecessor.
