The Raid Remake Loses Director and Star

I can’t say I’m too upset about this as The Raid: Redemption is one of my favorite movies of the last decade, and it certainly doesn’t need to be remade as we already have the eerily similar Dredd.
News broke last week that the film had lost its director, Patrick Hughes; one of its production companies in Screen Gems; its distributor, Sony; and its lead actor, Taylor Kitsch. It sounded like the only who hadn’t jumped ship was co-star Frank Grillo, who recently took to Twitter to set the record straight…
Let’s put this to rest. I’m no longer attached to #TheRaid in any way.
