STX Entertainment (The Gift) has another horrific trick up its sleeves as word has just come of a new possession thriller on the way entitled Salem Village.
Penned by Jeff Richard and Mark Bianculli, Salem Village is described as an edgy period horror film set fifteen years after the Salem witch trials. Marc Schmuger is producing for Global Produce. Sheroum Kim will be overseeing for STX.
Synopsis:
A young woman starts to show signs of possession. Desperate for the truth, the town’s elders put their faith into a man of science to uncover what is truly happening in Salem and put an end to the terrifying events plaguing the town.
