Starz/Anchor Bay Offering Films on iTunes

Starz/Anchor Bay Heads to iTunesLooking for new and better ways to utilize your iPod? Want to take some classic horror on the road with you? Then today’s your lucky day as Starz Digital Media has announced some of its content distributed on DVD by Anchor Bay Entertainment is now available on iTunes for sale and rental.

Per Home Media Magazine, the downloadable titles include The Haunted World of El Superbeasto (directed by Rob Zombie, review here); the horror films Phantasm and the original The Hills Have Eyes; and anime titles including Dead Space: Downfall, Hellboy: Blood and Iron, and Hellboy: Sword of Storms.

“We are very pleased to be expanding our offerings on iTunes to now include a wide array of current and library feature films from Overture Films, Anchor Bay Entertainment, and Manga Entertainment, in addition to the popular Manga Entertainment and Starz Originals TV content,” said Marc DeBevoise, SVP, digital media, business development and strategy for Starz Media and lead executive for Starz Digital Media.
