Spoiler Alert: Synopses of iZombie, Supernatural, and The Originals for the Week of November 9th
Once again “The Vampire Diaries” is the odd man out as The CW has released the synopses for its shows during the week of November 9th, and Episode 7.06 of “TVD,” entitled “Best Served Cold,” is conspicuously absent. But it’ll come along soon, and in the meantime here’s what’s ahead in “iZombie” Episode 2.06, “Max Wager”; “Supernatural” Episode 11.06, “Our Little World”; and “The Originals” Episode 3.06, “Beautiful Mistake.”
The MVP of the week looks to be “iZombie,” which features a guest appearance by ex-NBA player Rick Fox, while trouble is surely ahead for the Winchesters due to Metatron’s return on November 11th.
“iZombie” Episode 2.06 – “Max Wager” (11/10/15; 9:00-10:00 pm)
FORMER NBA CHAMP RICK FOX GUEST STARS — Liv (Rose McIver) unwittingly crosses paths with the most dangerous man in Seattle while investigating the murder of degenerate gambler Harry (guest star Ray Galletti). Detective Babineaux (Malcolm Goodwin) has a super-fan moment when he and Liv question NBA Hall of Famer Calvin Owens (guest star Rick Fox) at Harry’s funeral.
Meanwhile, Blaine’s (David Anders) father (guest star Robert Knepper) makes a huge discovery, and Ravi (Rahul Kohli) delivers some bad news. Major (Robert Buckley) continues to struggle. John Kretchmer directed the episode written by Graham Norris.
“Supernatural” Episode 11.06 – “Our Little World” (11/11/15; 9:00-10:00 pm)
METATRON RETURNS — Castiel (Misha Collins) seeks out Metatron’s (guest star Curtis Armstrong) help to stop the Darkness. However, Metatron is pretty happy with his new life as a freelance videographer for the local news and isn’t inclined to help the Winchesters (Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles) or Castiel.
Meanwhile, Crowley (Mark Sheppard) is losing his hold on Amara. John Showalter directed the episode written by Robert Berens.
“The Originals” Episode 3.06 – “Beautiful Mistake” (11/12/15; 9:00-10:00 pm)
THE STRIX MAKE THEIR MOVE — When Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and Freya (Riley Voelkel) realize that Rebekah may be the target of The Strix’s latest plan, they do whatever it takes to protect her. Elsewhere, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) spends time with Aurora (guest star Rebecca Breeds) to figure out where her loyalties lie, while a dangerous run-in with a member of The Strix leads Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) and Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) to make an unsettling discovery.
Finally, an elaborate scheme created by Lucien (guest star Andrew Lees) leaves Cami (Leah Pipes) faced with a difficult decision to make and Detective Kinney (guest star Jason Dohring) fighting for his life. Steven DePaul directed the episode written by Kyle Arrington and Christopher Hollier.
