2015 Reaper Awards Winners Announced; It Follows and Halloween: The Complete Collection Dominate!
Anchor Bay and Shout! Factory’s joint release of Halloween: The Complete Collection earned the top honor at the 2015 Reaper Awards competition. The Blu-ray collection of all the films in the Halloween franchise also earned Best Collection.
In addition, Anchor Bay’s It Follows won four awards, including Choice Theatrical Cut, Best Digital Release, Best Scream Queen for Maika Monroe’s Jay, and Best Big Bad for the malevolent “It” force.
Anchor Bay also won for Best TV Collection for The Walking Dead: Season Four on Blu-ray.
Shout! Factory’s Nightbreed: The Director’s Cut — Limited Edition won two awards, Best Title From the Vault (Re-release or Catalog Title) and Best Box Art.
The 2015 Reaper Awards, presented by Home Media Magazine and DreadCentral.com, honor the top horror and thriller titles released between August 1, 2014, and July 31, 2015. Studios submitted contenders for consideration by a panel of judges in conjunction with a consumer vote.
