AFM 2015: Adaline: The Conjured Inherits a Spooky Trailer

Tons of horror movies are on the prowl for distribution at this year’s American Film Market in Santa Monica, California. One of the many flicks at the industry event is Adaline: The Conjured, which tells the story of a young woman who moves into an incredibly spooky house. Any horror fanatic worth his or her salt knows that this is always a recipe for unholy terror. One look at the trailer proves that these characters are in for a nightmarish experience in their new abode.
The film’s official synopsis describes the story in detail:
A young artist, Daniela, inherits an old house from an aunt who she never knew existed. She moves into the house, where she meets a handsome carpenter and a mentally challenged young neighbor. While staying in her house, she has a series of bizarre nightmares. One day Daniela finds an old diary which tells the sad story of a girl called Adaline, who used to live in the same house during the early 1900’s with her two sisters and drunk father.
Daniela discovers that Adaline could see into the future and made premonitions, including the death of her two sisters. She was cast out and branded as a village witch by the locals. Adaline’s work in this world is not finished as she reaches out through nightmares and leaves cryptic prophecies hidden in the attic. Adaline’s restless spirit walks throughout the house and gets more agitated as doom approaches.
