Nightmares Wants to Explore Your Bad Dreams

Nightmares — we all have them, though some of us tend to enjoy them more than others. Some folks get a genuine thrill from these horrifying nocturnal adventures, while others are almost too terrified to close their eyes. A brand new series, aptly titled “Nightmares,” explores your darkest dreams with a little help from some of your favorite horror icons.
According to the official Kickstarter campaign, “Nightmares” is “a new, interactive horror series … brought to life by SFX make up champions, hosted by icons, and explained by science.” In short: They get people like Kevin Grevioux, Lance Henriksen, and Kane Hodder to host the episodes, employ talented FX masterminds to bring your impossibly scary dreams to life, and then get a bunch of insanely intelligent people to tell you what all of those frightening images mean.
Here’s a bit about how the team will explore these nightmares:
Breaking down a nightmare is a lengthy process; however, it is a necessary one if you hope to come out victorious against your nightmare’s creatures. Nightmares has sought out over two dozen medical experts, sleep and dream research centers, sleep centers, psychiatrists, therapists, psychologists, medical doctors, psychics, energy workers, Reiki masters (essentially anyone who would have an accurate, professional opinion on where the nightmare came from and how to best deal with it). They are dedicated professionals who have a great interest in helping the dreamer suffering from these terrible nightmares. Even after all these experts break down the dream, sometimes they still fall short in explaining why the nightmare happened. When this happens, we go deeper and investigate the area where the nightmare occurred, and you will be surprised where this will lead.
