Feast or Famine Trailer Takes an Emotional Approach to the Apocalypse
Post-apocalyptic worlds aren’t always filled with gun-wielding maniacs driving impossibly cool cars retrofitted with bits and pieces found scattered across an arid landscape. Sometimes it’s just cold and lonely, a place where you’re forced to confront your emotions and painful memories. Either way, these worlds are always a tough place for a guy or gal to survive in.
Writer/director Lewis Leslie’s Feast or Famine appears to take a quieter, more emotional approach to the apocalypse. In fact, there’s nary a mutant, zombie, or cannibalistic maniac in the trailer embedded below. The video also features Bill Oberst, Jr., who is a welcome addition to any genre flick.
Have a look at this synopsis before checking out the trailer:
Cole’s wife died in a freak accident that left him cold and alone. When Sasha, a desperate woman, shows up at his door, he’s forced to explore the outside world. As more visitors appear, it becomes increasingly clear that not only are things not what they seem, but he must decide if he can trust Sasha as her true intentions are slowly revealed.
Feast or Famine, which also stars Andrew J. Katers and Nissa Von Reiter, doesn’t have a release date just yet, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled. Meanwhile, investigate the trailer below.
